Carolyn Cuttino

Carolyn Cuttino is Vice President of Clinical Best Practice at Corstrata, where she shapes the evidence-based protocols and standards behind every consultation. She has been part of Corstrata since its early days and co-authored its 2017 paper on telemedicine for chronic wound management in Today's Wound Clinic.

Carolyn is a board-certified wound care nurse and Certified Wound Specialist. She practiced for more than 36 years at the Medical University of South Carolina, a 600-bed teaching hospital in Charleston, and later founded a consulting practice providing wound education and management to skilled care facilities and industry. She supported CMS's Pressure Ulcer Initiative across North and South Carolina, helping facilities improve prevention and treatment.

Carolyn is a founding director of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care and a past President of the WOCN Society's Southeast Region. She has served on the planning committee for the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care, which honored her with its 2009 Founders Award. She has published widely and lectures nationally on wound management.
