Our Mission

To enable wound and ostomy patients access to fuller, more enjoyable lives - sustainably and at scale

Our WHY

Our Corstrata team is passionate about making a difference for the over 10 million people in the U.S. living with a chronic wound or ostomy; many without access to the wound and ostomy experts who can help them the most. When we hear from one of our patients that “You gave my wife and me our life back”, we know we are making a remarkable difference - this is the answer to the question of “Our Why”.

Our team, composed of leading national wound and ostomy experts and post-acute operational experts, developed the Corstrata Solution because we all previously experienced the pain and knew there had to be a “better way” to connect scarce experts using cutting-edge digital health technologies.

WHAT is the challenge?

  • 90% of WOC Nurses work in the hospital,  leaving only a few available to support patients outside the hospital where the need is high, and the resources are scarce.

  • The lack of access and the high demand for WOC Nurses makes the cost of hiring one challenging and costly.

  • As a result, patients are living with unresolved Wound and Ostomy related issues for months to years; these problems could have been addressed and solved earlier with access to the right support.
